Echo will collect and remove almost any electronic waste item for you. You are required to make sure the equipment is unplugged and in an easy and accessible place for our collection team to pick up. Prior to collection, pricing will be confirmed by Echo through our website's automatic pricing calculator. Our recycling charges reflect the labour of ONE team member assisting with collection. Additional labour will incur additional labour fees.

Our freight charges are based on distance from our site - 5 Southpark Place, Penrose, Auckland 1061. Echo will recycle and dispose of all equipment collected, with the intent to prevent as much e-waste from going to landfill as possible.

You must be on-site or have pre-organised a pickup location prior to collection. If a truck is required, items must be palletized or on wheels, and a forklift or pallet jack must be available on site.

Echo reserves the right to refuse to collect any item that is deemed unsanitary or ill-prepared.  An example might be a washing machine that still has water in it or a refrigerator that is not thawed.

Our collection team will only collect items that have been paid for on the website. Failure to mention items that carry charges and need to be collected will either be charged additionally or not collected at all. Our charges are based on the cost to us to recycle difficult items, including the labour required to dismantle or extract recyclable parts from the items, and the cost to put these items into their designated downstream.

Payment must be completed prior to collection, with the exception of any Data Destruction services which will be billed on completion. Echo reserves the right to charge an additional surcharge, imposed by card companies and banks, onto you. When paying by credit card or debit card or other nominated account you authorise Echo to debit the total invoice amount from your credit card or debit card or other nominated account.

By agreeing to pay for an e-waste collection through our website,  www.echotech.co.nz, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out here. You will submit your payment by completing payment details and indicating your acceptance by pressing the “Confirm Order” button.

You acknowledge that the internet can be an unstable and sometimes an insecure marketplace. At times the website may not be available. Echo does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us.

Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us, including your credit card or banking details, is transmitted at your own risk and Echo is not responsible while such information is in transit. Once you click on “Proceed to Payment”, Echo will process payment for your job, plus any other charges detailed on your invoice where you indicate your acceptance of this contract (“Order Total”), using your nominated credit card, debit card, or other nominated accounts using a secure payment gateway.

All prices displayed on our website is in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
